Description

Thymosin Alpha-1 (Thymalfasin, TA1) is a synthetic 28-amino-acid, N-terminally acetylated polypeptide supplied here as a 5 mg lyophilised vial. In cell-based and preclinical animal models it has been studied as neutral scientific background for its association with innate immune signalling, including interaction with Toll-like receptor pathways, and with immune cell maturation and differentiation. Keep vials refrigerated at 2-8 °C and protect them from light both before and after reconstitution.

Storage and handling

Keep the sealed vial refrigerated between 2 and 8 °C and away from direct light. Do not freeze unless your protocol requires it.

Once reconstituted, keep the vial sealed and refrigerated, and aliquot rather than warming and cooling the same container repeatedly. Note the reconstitution date on the label.
