Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed through this shop.

This page is a working draft for the rebuild. Have the final wording reviewed against your operator details and current legal requirements before the site goes live.

Scope

These terms govern the contract between us as the seller and you as the customer. Terms of your own that conflict with these apply only where we have agreed to them in writing.

Intended use

All products in this shop are supplied as laboratory reference material for in-vitro research and analytical work only. They are not medicines, supplements, cosmetics for general sale or food.

Nothing we sell is intended for human or veterinary consumption, and none of it may be administered to people or animals. By placing an order you confirm that you are a professional user ordering for legitimate research and that you will handle, store and dispose of the material accordingly.

Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your country and legally entitled to purchase and hold this type of material. You are responsible for checking that the products you order may lawfully be imported and held where you are.

Formation of contract

The product listings on this site are an invitation to order rather than a binding offer. Your order is an offer to buy, and the contract comes into effect when we confirm the order or dispatch the goods.

We may decline an order, for example where a product is unavailable, where the details cannot be verified, or where supplying it would not be lawful.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include statutory VAT where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout before you confirm the order.

Orders are settled by direct bank transfer. Payment is due on placing the order, using the recipient, IBAN, BIC and payment reference shown on the confirmation screen and sent by email; the order ships once the transfer is received in our account.

Delivery

Delivery times given on the site are estimates and are not binding dates unless we have expressly agreed one. Our shipping policies page explains dispatch, packaging and what to do if a parcel is delayed or damaged.

Right of withdrawal and returns

Because these are temperature-sensitive laboratory materials whose integrity depends on an unbroken cold chain, sealed items cannot be returned once they have left our control.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are defective. If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Warranty and liability

We warrant that products match the specification on their certificate of analysis for the stated batch. We give no warranty as to their suitability for any particular research purpose, which remains your assessment.

We are liable without limit for injury to life, body or health and for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Governing law

The law of our place of business applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The version in force at the time you place your order is the one that applies to it.

Verified purity

Every batch is analysed for identity and purity before it ships.

Cold chain handling

Vials are stored and dispatched at 2-8 °C so they reach you in the condition they left us.

Tracked delivery

Dispatch within one working day with tracked shipping across Europe.
