Tesamorelin (TH9507) is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone, stabilised as a 44-amino-acid GHRH(1-44) peptide with an N-terminal modification that increases resistance to enzymatic degradation compared with native GHRH. It is studied for GHRH-receptor binding on pituitary somatotrophs and downstream growth hormone/IGF-1 axis signalling. Supplied as a 5mg and 10 mg lyophilised vial; it is sensitive to agitation, so swirl rather than shake after adding diluent.
Keep the sealed vial refrigerated between 2 and 8 °C and away from direct light. Do not freeze unless your protocol requires it.
Once reconstituted, keep the vial sealed and refrigerated, and aliquot rather than warming and cooling the same container repeatedly. Note the reconstitution date on the label.
Most products in the range ship as a lyophilised powder and need bacteriostatic water before use, which we stock separately.
