Description

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derived from tuftsin, an endogenous immunomodulatory tetrapeptide found in the Fc domain of IgG. It is studied for its association with GABAergic signalling and anxiolytic-pathway research, alongside immunomodulatory effects inherited from its tuftsin backbone. Supplied as a 10 mg lyophilised vial and frequently studied alongside Semax.

Storage and handling

Keep the sealed vial refrigerated between 2 and 8 °C and away from direct light. Do not freeze unless your protocol requires it.

Once reconstituted, keep the vial sealed and refrigerated, and aliquot rather than warming and cooling the same container repeatedly. Note the reconstitution date on the label.
